The next measure of success, I think, would be found in where he spent his time, with those closest to him. He could have been so easily discouraged by the seemingly lack of growth in the disciples, but he kept walking with them, he keeps walking with me, in spite of my slow progress of becoming more like himself.
Success to Jesus was found in going deep with a few, living life together, laughing, going to parties, showing up with the disciples to places of need. Success was building the vision for community in a few and walking with them as they multiplied that vision.
To sum up this measure of success for Jesus, it would be community. Building community around himself, the person of Jesus, was success to him.
