Ps 145 continued…
(Now David is going to talk about who the Lord is…more truth)
The Lord is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, abundant in mercy and kindness
The Lord is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works (whose works…His)
All Your works shall give thanks to You, oh Lord
And Your godly ones shall enjoy you
They (We, you and me) shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom (“I must preach the kingdom of God…for I was sent for this purpose” Lk 4:43) that’s what Jesus did, spoke of the glory of the kingdom of God
And talk of Your power
To make known to the sons of men: 1) Your mighty acts
2) And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations
The Lord sustains all who fall
And raises up all who are bowed down (Even the psalmist as he extols and praises God, realizes that at times we will fall, but again, it is not the daily norm, it is the exception.
The eyes of all look to You
And You give them their food in due time
You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing
All that the Lord does for us every single day is remarkable! We are wise to choose to notice all that He is doing. (The conclusion of Ps 145 next week)
